Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups moong dal


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 1 cups ghee


  • 1 tbsp aata


  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1/2 cups khoya


  • 10 nos sliced & fried cashew nuts, raisins

Directions

  • Wash and soak the dal overnight. Next day coarsely grind the dal and keep aside.
  • Now heat ghee and add the aata. Stir for few seconds and then add the moong dal.
  • Stir it continuously, while that is cooking, heat the sugar with 1/4 th cup of water to make a sugar syrup.
  • Once the dal is roasted and brown in colour, add the sugar syrup and CARDAMOM powder. Cook until the halwa is cooked.
  • Finally add the khoya and mix well. Cook for few more seconds and garnish with fried cashew nuts and raisins.
